We had a wonderful time! the house is beautiful and Rincon is such a great place!
my 2 yr old had a wonderful time running around finding lizards and playing on the beach.
The only thing I would say that I would have changed, was to have some carpet or rug of some sort. my little girl (7 months) who is learning to crawl, was too uncomfortable to sit on the tile floors, so we had to hold her to whole time.
the water was beautiful. we saw barracuda, octopus, lots of fish, coral, sea fans, puffer fish...etc.
we will definitely try to come back some time! we loved it there!
thank you again so much for a great vacation!

Subject: Thanks for everything

Luis,

Hello. We are back in Ohio now. We got back last night. We had a beautiful vacation in PR this year. We especially enjoyed our stay. You have a beautiful place and it was great to have the cookout on Saturday. We will try and send some pictures for you to look at and see if they might go on your website. If our plans go well, we will be back there soon. Enjoy the rest of the year and I hope things go well with you and your family.

Hi, Luis!

I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the house - it's such a great spot! Roberto took great care of us and it was nice to see him again and see his latest paintings. Dick did call the tennis player (thanks for arranging that), but they decided that they were too disparate in ability for it to be worthwhile (Dick is 4.9, whatever that means).

It's nice here now and the snow is all gone, but more is predicted for the weekend. I hope you stay well .

With best wishes (and hopes for future stays at the villa),

Luis and Roberto,

I just wanted to say again thanks for the wonderful stay at your house

in Rincon. It was great. Just a perfect setup for us. My mother got

the downstairs 'suite', with her own private balcony (so she could sneak

a smoke), and we all had the upstairs. That huge bedroom upstairs

became a bedroom / playroom all in one.

And, oh my gosh, the water was beautiful!! You should advertise the

'house reefs' you have there. That one reef directly out from the house

marked with the white buoy is just fantastic! Huge box fish, the

several large angel fish following me around, the soft corals - wonderful.

Hope your brother got that bottle of wine. Sorry he wasn't around so we

could say goodbye in person.

Thanks again. I hope we can make it back!

Warmest regards,Barbecuing on the deck

Dear Luis and Roberto,

Villa Orleans was the perfect site for our 4-generation family vacation. The beautiful beachfront house did a great job accommodating the range of ages from 2 to 88. On top of the many pleasures of being there -- lovely swimming, luscious grounds (including homegrown coconuts), and stunning sunsets -- your warm hospitality made our week's visit truly idyllic. Our heartfelt thanks.

Here are a few things you might consider. A bigger coffee pot. A medium sized sauce pan with a lid for boiling water. We broke a wine glass, a knife, and the pull chain on the light switch in the living room. We left behind a bunch of food and a couple bowls.

I  take it we were quite lucky with El Nino, which made it possible to swim in front of the house. Am I right that chances of good swimming weather are better in December? If so, do you have a week available between Xmas and New Year next year?

Hasta luego,

Hello, I was just in Puerto Rico and we stayed in Rincon, a place called Villa Orleans. Their web site is www.villaorleanspr.com. They don't have a pool, but the beach is wonderful and we went skinny dipping many times at night. It's a quiet area and it was like being in the beach out in the country; we rarely saw people on the beach. Rincon is a tourist town on the western side of the island. Many nice restaurants, a lot of Americans, and you don't have to speak Spanish to get around. Almost everyone speaks English. But you do need a rental car. Public transportation is unreliable. Hope I've been of help.

We love the Rincon beach house, situated on a sea wall.  We went to sleep to
the sounds of the crashing waves and the song of the Coqui frogs.  We loved
having the beach at our steps.....the older boys, swam, snorkeled and fished
and Nikolas enjoyed the beach.  The gardens were beautiful. Loaded with star
fruit, coconuts, mango's, and papaya.

Villa Orleans is a small ocean paradise. It satisfies all the senses, roaring waves, the smell of freshly fallen mangoes, warmth of sun, taste of salt-air, and of course, everywhere you look there is gorgeous, natural beauty, or as Luis would say "eye candy." Your hospitality and friendship cannot be expressed meaningfully on paper, other than to say, thank you. Art and Denna Rogers, Peter and Jill Stern June 23, 2007 from Pennsylvania

Comments: Hey Luis,
We had such an amazing time at your house...and Roberto was so amazing too!!!   I just got back to the states and got my phone charger and I got the message that you called yesterday (or maybe the day before). Do you still need anything? I'm assuming you got in touch with one of the other girls by now, but feel free to call or email me if you still needed anything! Thank you so so much for letting us use your AMAZING house!!!
