What Amenities are provided at the villa?
Villa Orleans has:
-Washer/Dryer
-Wi-Fi
-Full kitchen: blender, pots pans, coffee pot, microwave, toaster oven.
-Beach towels, and a personal towel and wash towels.
-We provide a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a roll of paper towels, hand soap from a pump bottle in each bathroom and a fresh bar of soap in each bathroom; a sponge and one bottle of dish soap. We do not provide a continual supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap. We do not provide soap for washing machine.

Do you live on the property?
No, but we do have a care taker visiting the property 7 days a week. He/She checks the pool and the surrounding areas.

-Do you rent out facilities for beach weddings?
-Small weddings only for under 25 persons. There is no additional charge, but damage deposits are required. There is a fee for larger wedding parties. Over 25 the fee is $475, over 40 the fee is $950. We don't do weddings for over 50.

If I rent out the 4th bedroom, will there be anyone else staying at the house?
No, you have the house to your party. On occasion we do rent out the apartment next door, usually to former guests.

Can we have 15 persons in the main house?
The main house can comfortably sleep 10 persons. More than 10 results in little hot water, a warm refrigerator. So we avoid placing more than then persons in the main house.
What is your smoking policy?
There is no smoking inside any of the rooms at Villa Orleans. We ask, that if you do smoke, you smoke outside and not drop the butts in the ocean or leave them in the parking area. We consider smoking inside rooms as damage, as rooms need to be completely cleaned, and the fine is $100 per room. In 5 years we've only had to access this once.

What is the energy surcharge?
If you leave the air conditioners running 24/7 then we add a surcharge of 5% to your fee. If you prefer not so spent that extra 5%, then the caretaker is instructed to turn off the air conditioners when guests are not on property.

I am going with a group, but I need to get to San Juan. What taxis would you recommend?
A taxi will charge one person around $140. Cape Air flys out of Mayaguez for under $100. There is a public car system called Sultana, but don't take them. They are unreliable and once missed a flight of a guest and they refuse to reinburst the guest for his missed flight.

Can I bring my dog?
There is a $100 surcharge for dogs, as we provide a doggie towel and a doggie bed. Note that only small dogs are allowed. The owner is responsible for picking up any waste the dog makes on property and for any damages the dog makes. For instance, 2 years ago visitors let a wet dog sleep on the sofa and the smell of wet dog could only be removed by replacing the sofa.

Can I rent the villa just for the weekend?
No, the villa has a 5 night minimum. Nor do we rent out for parties or any large activities.

Are there any snakes?
No snakes in this area, but the zoo has a nice variety.

Can you swim on this beach?
Yes, this is a good beach to swim in. Reefs keep the stiff currents away.

What do I need to do to reserve?
Call us to leave a credit card number or send us a check and let us know you've sent it. A reservation is not complete with out a deposit. We've had several instances when we've emailed back and forth with potential guests, only to have someone else reserve those dates or part of those dates. We recieve several inquiries a week for rentals through out the year. So I cannot stress enough to send a deposit for your dates as soon as you've decided.
